COCOVIE feels like a hidden island paradise. Starry night air moves through palms and white tropical florals, seashells glimmer along the water’s edge, and somewhere deeper in the garden a fountain spills over pale stone as if it has been running there for centuries. Coconut, vanilla and citrus drift through the humidity, softened by tropical woods and skin still warm from the sun. There is something youthful about it, but not innocent—more like the first taste of freedom, a secret summer romance, music after midnight and the feeling that the night could become anything.
Vanilla has a long history of being treated as an aphrodisiac and stimulant, which fits the sensual, alive quality COCOVIE carries. Seashells belong naturally to the same world—Aphrodite was born from the sea, and shells became one of her enduring symbols of beauty, attraction and desire. Coconut carries its own ritual meaning in Hindu worship, where it is broken as an offering and symbol of surrender, while sandalwood has long been used as a sacred perfume in devotional practice. So this perfume composition is all about: pleasure, unapologetic beauty and letting yourself be.
Fragrant accords of: white tropical blossoms, juicy citrus peel, fresh coconut flesh, vanilla orchid, vanilla-soaked rum, Mysore sandalwood, dark tropical woods, salt air and skin warmed by the night. A moody tropical floral—lush, creamy and radiant, with a sweet floral opening that settles into coconut, vanilla and warm woods.
