Lilac was associated with the first emotions of love in nineteenth-century flower books. Its fleeting spring fragrance lends LUNETTE that same quality of anticipation: soft petals, an open window, butterflies in the stomach.

Linden blossom carries a story of devotion. In Ovid’s tale, the elderly Baucis becomes a linden beside her husband’s oak, their wish to remain together answered in living wood.
